I’m Dr. Mike Ghali, your therapist at INC Therapy, and I welcome you to Individual and Couples Therapy. While this site exists because I’m a licensed psychologist and love engaging in therapy with my clients, I have many other primary roles and facets that make me who I am. First and foremost, I am a human being with many of the privileges, struggles, and foibles that are part of being human. I relish my role as a partner, best friend, and life-long adventure companion to my wife of 20+ years. As a father, I seek to love, nurture, and guide my children to the best of my ability. And, I feel most alive when I’m singing or camping. But, I digress. You are probably more interested in learning about my credentials and professional background.
After earning a master’s degree in Community Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado and a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Florida, I got busy putting my skills and education to use helping others. I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, community agencies, psychiatric hospitals, and university counseling centers.
Being a small, privately-owned therapy practice allows us at INC Therapy more energy to put toward you. This, in turn, allows you to receive more personalized attention, more flexible scheduling, and more consistent care. I listen, understand, and support your needs and goals. I am responsive in communication, whether through phone, email, or in-person contact. I work hard for you because I believe in you and would be honored to serve as your therapist.
